  • Burgundy + Gold Winter Inspiration

It was a super cold day (10 degrees!) in early January when Britani Edwards and W Rentals and Events planned this gorgeous winter inspirational styled shoot. The location was in Bridgeport, WV on the Bel Meadow golf course which was covered with a nice layer of snow and frozen water! Our models were perfect for the look and they were such troopers for braving the cold! If you are planning a winter wedding, please read on!

  • Romantic Summer Shoot

When Britani from Britani Edwards Photography contacted me about designing stationery for her upcoming navy, blush and gold styled shoot, I was super excited! First off, I love styled shoots and second, I love, love, LOVE navy, blush and gold colors together.

This shoot took place in Campy Muffly, WV and was published on Fab You Bliss (click this link to read their post) earlier this month. I woke up one Monday morning to a flood of notifications that we were published and I can see why – the team of vendors did an amazing job pulling everything together and our models nailed it!

  • Paper Hearts Rebrand

After 10 years of being in the graphic design industry, the hardest person to design for is, hands down, MYSELF! I design something for myself and then I completely throw it out the window because I never feel it is good enough. I guess being picky is a blessing and a curse because it pushes me to become a better designer but can also drive me crazy! When I started my journey in 2013 with Paper Hearts, I designed my branding to incorporate two things that I love, hearts and the color pink. Today, I am revealing the new look of Paper Hearts Invitations. It still has the very same heart I started with back then and the color pink, but it matches my design style a little more. Watercolor florals and script fonts are what I love to incorporate for my brides so I wanted to match my branding a little more to my everyday design style. I wanted this logo to be a little more “ME” and I am so excited to share it with you guys!

Let’s take a look back and my previous logos.logo2013

And here is the new look for Paper Hearts Invitations! Let me know what you think in the comments below.
